250g unsalted butter, softened
2 large cloves of garlic
1 tablespoon olive oil
Sea salt flakes
Your favourite fresh herbs, such as parsley, if you wish
Three Belle & Wilde Original Loaves or several Belle & Wilde Original Rolls
Place the butter, garlic, olive oil, salt and herbs (if using) in a food processor and blend.
Cut the loaves into chunky slices, or the rolls into three, and spread very generously with the garlic butter. Reassemble and wrap in aluminium foil. Cook in a hot oven, 200ºC, for 20 mins. Open the foil and continue to cook for a further 10 minutes to crisp up the top.
Serve alongside your favourite soups, salads, roasted vegetables or pasta dishes.
You can store your garlic bread for up to a week and it freezes beautifully.
